I’m just crying.

Seeing this just made my eyes watery. I can’t explain, normally I get in mood for a journal with a little music for you know let my feelings run across the keyword. But this time I was completely silent at first.

I will explain in plain language some key points:

About Idols:

Forget for Arashi reunion, for the day they changed Johnny's name, the contract died so they have to sign again. So the closest to the Arashi reunion is this kind of photo.

The incredible remarks like Kinki Kids most number 1, would be forgotten because they released all their work under “Johnny’s entertainment” label.

The days of “entering” would be from zero.

The name of several groups would change as the same of many songs related to johnny.

You can't name how you enter in the industry: Kyomoto, Matsumoto for example. Now is the time to tell lies, to invent t pretend things that idols and fans know that never happened.

Every Idol has to delete from his memory the name of Johnny. Forever.

You already know I like to dig in the past and remember some stories. This time is Olympic, we have a year to Paris 2024. (July 25th to Aug 11th)

So thinking in that I would re- introduce Johnnys back to 2013 were the Tokyo bid elecction was made.
That year Arashi in "Arafes" announced the bid and lit up the calaudron in Tokyo Olimpic Stadium. The same year decided Japan would re-build the whole stadium. So Arashi was the last male group/band in play and the last show was actually AKB48.

At the time, Johnny announced the creation of a special unit called "johnny 2020" or in japanese トニトニ. The idea of JK was scauting a new generation of 40 Jr. And the scouting begun in Osaka and Tokyo.

Later Johnny named Tacky in his place in front of "Jr" division in 2018. So he changed the original project they would be the last groups debuted: King & Prince (5), Sixtones (6), Snowman (7), naniwa danshi (7), HiHi jets (5), Bishounen (6) and Travis Japan (7) ⇒ 40 people in 6 groups.

But with the pandemic and the Olympic suspension, the project also changed.
This time Julie with Tackey decided form Twenty★Twenty for Smile up! Proyect to collect found for pandemic relief. This time will have all the groups in the agency and only the debuted ones.

Until then people sympathized with Tackey like "taking Johnny's to another level". Only a few fans critizised the decision about the jr groups without the opportunity to show up even more fans and magazines pointed out to Julie. So how was the real role of Takizawa?

I love the song plus the PV. I was waiting for some beachie PV since JAL okinawa CM from 2018. The only thing I don't bear is the ossan clothes, ugh! c'mon they still young. The lyrics are good, sonnds good too and have a nice and smooth choreography. In a sense the last two digital singles looks like the intenents of US artist for coping the latin market in the 90'. Is quite paradojical that Johnny's tries to atract the overseas public now that they are facing an hiatus next year. Imagine the situation: you finds about a group in spotify sounds goood looks good but you don't have the opportunity to to see them live or get the membresy to their fan club because you live overseas... plus they gonna enter in hiatus in the following six months. quite illogical huh!.

Why do I dislike Nino's marriage?

First of all Nino isn't my ichiban, not even my niban so there's nothing like platonic love towards him.

Second, I wish him all happiness as any arashi member. I really want them to find happiness in marriage.

I strongly support Ayako Ito. There's my motive.

She was bashed online harshly by fans and media and Nino did nothing to protect her.

In his Ninosan, he mocked about womens who have the same attitude as Ito in sns and variety shows. The special was titled "woman who dislikes another woman".

When he was questioned directly by the magazine he answered like a kid, telling them to ask the agency instead of defending his relationship with Ito.

The same when he was invited to Tetsuko's room and when he was questioned he replied with the pre formatted answer "my fans are my girlfriend" instead of defending his relationship.

After all of this I think he had many opportunities to stand up against his harsh fans and defend his girlfriend-wife to be.

If I were Ito I never would have married such a man. She had to quit her job and her career and Nino didn't do anything to protect her instead he tried to keep lying about it. Now that she is a general woman he married her.

Is huge! I'm so proud of them.

Maybe I'm a bit melancholic these days, I started thinking about all the things and big projects they have now. Now they are about to start the hiatus.

Is a real paradox that everyone the company, sponsors, TV in general are realising how big and how good arashi is now after the announcement.

I thought they deserved this so much time before, like in 2009, but is good recompense after 20 years of work.

Is better thinking is a big way to say じゃね！

Is really nice to know which are the “Arashi best”

I was influenced by Kinki “the best” album and “25 years” of SMAP. I wanted to know what about Arashi songs and their upcoming 20th anniversary.

How I did the count of the tour? It wasn’t easy at all. First of all I only took the DVD released ones, because it's easy to have reliable source of the setlist. And the second point is I didn’t took the “special concerts”

The second part I based on my own previous post of “arashi in music programs” and “sales post”.

Johnny’s Countdown is the new year concert, but since 1997 is aired on Fuji Tv and other regionals stations. There’s a JC part isn't’ aired before 11PM and some CM time too, for this particular chart I only care about the aired content.

Arashi have almost 400 songs, wow!. Like all the fans I have a couple of favourites, not all 400 songs. They are just 10 songs really special for me … between them one never been performed live. 😢

For me is interesting know the sales isn’t related to the songs they chose for TV or concerts. Also, as far as I know (because I can’t find a reliable data about that *help me*) the songs more performed aren’t related with fans’ choice (like they did in arafes).

See, sometimes things are a little different of what we expected.

I know there are songs more promoted by the Agency than others. But, I like to think there are songs specials for them too. As an Aiba fan I can figure out what are those, I would like all of them would be more open about music taste.

I found about this just on lunch, but I was on my Aunt home so I can't say nothing about this before.

I'm not shocked because they have already prepared the fans in different ways first of all in Arashi NHK documentary. I'm a bit sad because of course I'm a fan. They are people who have emotions and life sometimes expectations have their own weight on us.

I was less cautious in my beginning as fan, so when I saw Ochan crying in Hawaii I thought maybe he needs a bit of rest and maybe the end of Arashi is near. And many other fans in very bad manners told me this will be impossible and I was telling lies. But when Ohno ended his radio show of 12 years, I was more cautious this time and only pointed it.

For Ohno fans I think is devastating. He have my favourite voice in Arashi and one of my favourites in JE. His dance is wonderful and is crown as the kings of dance of the whole JE.

I think they have to do the things they want, is their lives after all.

I don't know why the management thought this would be a better occasion since the applications didn't finished. For me is too early is we are talking on the beginning of the hiatus. In the other hand after heard the time he wanted to quit and all the time they have to hide this decision made me think maybe they have to announce it early and let Ohno begin with his rest time soon. And sometimes I think maybe the agency makes some marketing about this.

I don't want to mix translations with my hopes. just saying some points...

🐟They would be on hiatus on 31 december 2020 just 703 days or a year and 11 months.

🐟 From that dates onwards they won't have groups activities. i.e. ANS, VSA, music station, kohaku or other single or album as Arashi.

🐟 Ohno would live his life as a general person from the 31-12-20. So, he won't do any entertainment activity. I.e. guest appearance in any show.

🐟 Aiba said he would try his best in his solo activities, maybe the others members try to pursue solo activities too. (is highly unlikely they would do any appearance of other member show like jun was guest in yakai.)

🐟 Jun also said he want to rest a little bit and challenge himself with things he never try. He maybe have some projects to do but seems he would slow down. The other two didn't make any reference to the time in hiatus.

🐟 The end of hiatus isn't decided yet.

🐟 The decision to quit start growing around Blast in Hawaii

🐟 Ohno wanted to quit in june 2017. In february 2018 the group communicated the agency he would quit and Arashi future as group. The agency have many meetings and offered Ohno an hiatus. They agreed on the hiatus and made the proper arrangements with the agency in june 2018.

🐟 Although is a discrepancy between Nino or Aiba way to tell the story I would credit Ohno. He start talking one on one with Arashi members in june 2017 and heard their thoughts for his decisions. Then, gathered all in the hotel room in Osaka (for the wakuwaku) and told them the conclusions of all the individuals meetings on 16th June just minutes before Nino’s birthday.

🐟 They NEVER say they won’t disband after the hiatus. They said they have to have time to think.

🐟 Ohno NEVER say he will back for sure. He will find his true self and then start thinking in the future as idol and Arashi member.

🐟 They begin with the hiatus because they don’t want to perform as 4 person arashi.

Of course I will continue to support them as I supported many other bands inclusive the other disbanded as SMAP. I want Ohno to think the best for him. I want to him to take care of his life, his family, his body and even his soul.
Later I will continue to comment on this situation of all the things that I am remembering but before. First of all I will post all the things that I had in the drafts even if they are incomplete ... surely I will complete them later.

I have seen some inquiries of fans in TW and and here about the sales of Arashi. They wanted to know If Arashi have a drop in their popularity or a significant change in the sales.

First of all, Japan have the 2nd biggest discographic industry in the world. Aside of that, Idols are 30% of the discography and Johnny's is only the half.

I began to learn about this industry by Arashi. I will try to explain the little things I know about the business.

last post or my last interaction here. Sorry. Health issues and RL are driving me crazy. I wasn’t in the fandom for two month not even for post the “HIATUS” phrase.

Is quite unbelievable I don’t follow JE for that short and everything changes.

The retirement of Tackey surprised me a lot. I’m happy he accedes to a management position in the JE. He was a great johnny and the most wonderful Jr of all times. He was the one who all jr respected back then.

In the other hand I’m sad about Tsubasa. He is too the image of the golden era. He was bright back then. Like him sometimes, my own health put limits on my career. I believe he could have some management desk in JE too, but maybe the full retirement was his decision.

We are close to the 20th anniversary of Arashi and maybe this make the news more painful. In this year retired from Johnny's 3 of most powerful JR of all times: Subaru, Tackey and Tsubasa. Since 1995 the jr. were divided into “Kansai johnnys jr” and “johnnys jr” (for all those who doesn’t belong to kansai). From this sub units remain in the agency: Arashi, KAT-TUN 3, Yamapi, Ikuta Toma, Kazama Shunsuke and Yara Tomoyuki. From Kansai side the part of the Yu Yokoyama Yu, Murakami Shingo, Maruyama Ryuhei, Nishikido Ryo. The other K8 members joined the agency after 1999. There were other Jr in that time, they were the Jr more young of the agency they have 10 years or less: ふぉ〜ゆ〜, ABC and Fujiyawa Taisuke.

Less than 10 johnnys remain in the agency after 200 jr pool at 1999. The most awesome and bright era of Johnny’s begun with NHK “Idol on Stage” where Arashi begun their path.

I know everyone has the right to leave the agency for pursue their own career, but I’m sad about the treatment they had in the agency. Sometimes the three of them didn’t receive the correct publicity in the media or the right work offers. How did they turn the most successful Jr into talents in the bottom of the agency?. T&T didn’t have not even the half of the work of TOKiO.

I found awful the common japanese philosophy of the end of the career at 40. Normally Idols has an “expiration date” at the age at 30, SMAP was the first idol whom surpass the 30 years mark in the top of the success.

And I have the worst proof of that way of thinking: Aiba. Yes, my own ichiban says so. He thinks he can’t reach anything else since the day he reached 30 years old (zero G making). I’m 10 years younger than him but I still love him like he is right now. I don’t want to believe him, Arashi has much more to do in entertainment industry. I hope he changed his mind by now.

Most of the newspapers in japan says the end of Heisei era is the end of the idol era too. They compared the popularity of Idols like the end of the bubble at the 10th of Heisei.

I’m sad… truly. Even if they aren't my group is still sad, they are from the same generation as Arashi and shared with them most of the precious moments during their teenage.

I want them to enjoy their new life now, they deserve it.

Primero de todo debo decir que no tuve un muy buen final de año... mi pc... mi amada pc; ella dejó el fandom! La tuve que reparar y todavia no tengo acceso a todo mi material de Johnnys. Igualmente pude seguirlos y ver todos los compromisos que tenian para fin de año. Bueno, mas tarde haré otro post con todo lo que paso en fin de año y con un poco de screencaps o algunos gif.
En medio del calor agobiante del verano, estuve viendo el Tokio Kakeru de MatsuJun y me habia dado la idea de poder ver a todos los Johnnys que pudieron pasar por el programa.
Me di cuenta que Tokio cambio un poco la vision de la relación Senpai-Kuhai dentro de Johnnys. Segun el Dai-Senpai la relacion se establece por la entrada en la jimusho y no por la edad o la fecha de debut (ya habia hecho un post con los dias de debut de los Johnnys, o sea que ahora cambiaron las reglas). Y así nacio la idea del post que después quedo en drafts.
Arashi habia dicho algo de esto cuando le dijo Senpai a Tackey y Aiba llamó senpai a Yamapi. Pero parece que ahora es oficial.
Entonces directo a nuestro asunto, debajo del cut esta reproducido la linea de tiempo que tiene Tokio en su programa. Obvio. no tiene las fotos ni los grupos por dos razones: no me entraba y no tengo tantas habilidades de diseño.

Thanks sacchanxd for the subs for KinPuri, I got the names and the dates there. The members are separated into two groups of King (Hirano Sho, Nagase Ren, Takahashi Kaito) and Prince (Kishi Yuta, Jinguji Yuta, Iwahashi Genki). There are a new community of these Jr. now a fully Johnny's in LJ with that nickname, if someone of the olders groups fandom wants to follow them.

I was having this post for so long in the “to do list”, since all my favs were in Kakeru. As I say before, my pc was broken and now I don’t have my Johnny’s material in my hands. Only have this draft online. Next post will be for the end of the year of arashi activities.

I’m will reproduce the Tokio kakeru board, well I´ll try to reproduce the tokio kakeru board (Staff-san do it with the faces and all fancy stuff, but I don't have the art skills they have). I finished the chart in midnight (because it's summer and 35°C in the afternoon isn't healthy for a fangirl) so, forgive me for the mistakes on the kanji names.

For those who didn’t know Tokio has been doing a timeline with the day when they join and the debut dates of all johnnys. The emphasys is given in the "join dates" of the talents in the agency. Tokio considers senpai to everyone who join first in Johnnys and then all are Kuhais. Following that principle Ohno is Senpai of Okada and Yamapi of Aiba. Rules are changing in the Jimusho.

* For all who read this post, I like doing index and I like know about Johnny's History, because I don't like feel like an outsider when Senpai talks to Arashi about some of JE stuff.

¡sí! un poco tarde ... pero vale la pena

Hoy me enteré sobre las Tokio songs ...

La expectativa es enorme sobre los juegos olímpicos de Tokio. En este 2018, todos conocemos a los cantantes de k-pop en la apertura de los Juegos Olímpicos.

Hasta ahora, Johnnys no parece aparecer en la apertura, tal vez en el final de los juegos olímpicos donde el rating disminuyen. Incluso la presentación en los Juegos Olímpicos de Río nada introduce al mundo de los idols. Es la primera vez que presenta canciones idol junto con canciones que no son idol para los Juegos Olímpicos.

Es una gran sorpresa este especial programa. Para mí es algo triste ... Arashi no se muestra en esto. Tienen el programa especial que presenta a los atletas en 2016. Pero este programa es solo para música y, por lo que yo sé, el programa no se transmitió por todo el mundo.

Pero, no sé si quiero que interpreten mikan en la televisión internacional, pero tienen una enorme trayectoria y maravillosas canciones para presentar.

Siento que los japoneses no quieren mostrarle Arashi a el mundo, no sé por qué. Algunos blogs piensan que es vergonzoso, otros dicen que incluso tienen maravillosas canciones que no se ajustan a la imagen de representar a Japón.

Para murakami, ¡Felicitaciones! Creo que es el primer programa de Kanjani transmitido en televisión internacional.

El programa va tener lugar el 1 °y 2° de enero por nhk world que esta en ingles. Depende de la prestadora de cable estará disponible en algunos paises (direct tv lo tiene ppv). Los johnnys que se presentan son Kanjani y News por ahora no hay otro que tenga presentacion. Tal como lo anuncia la pagina se graba en el 25 de noviembre y será transmitido primero para nhk world en ingles y luego en Japón en el 8 de Enero.

Sobre Nino: AHHH creo que se lo merece. Su capacidad como mc lo demuestra en todos los programas de arashi y en cada uno de sus preoyectos en solitario. Es impresionante, el Kohaku fue bastante bueno con Aiba a cargo y con alguien como Nino al frente creo que puede levantar un poco más la audiencia.

Me hubiera gustado mas una conductora del rojo como Namie Amuro, alguien que represente la musica japonesa desde el punto de vista femenino. Pero bueno, quizas sea una cuestion de agencias.

Estoy feliz por él. Ahora queda seguirlo en todas las actividades de promoción que quedan.

Definitivamente voy a tratar de mirarlo en vivo.

yes! a little late ... but it's worth it

Today I found out about the songs from Tokyo ...

The expectation is huge about the Olympic Games in Tokyo. In this 2018, we all know about the k-pop singers at the opening of the Olympic Games.

So far, Johnnys does not seem to appear at the opening, perhaps at the end of the Olympic Games where the rating decreases. Even the presentation at the Olympic Games in Rio nothing introduces us to the world of idols. CM para el nuevo cd

Bueno, quiero decirlo en algun lugar... que estaba pensando el managment de Johnny cuando hizo este cm?.
Ya sé seguro es que quisieron innovar, pero la pregunta es a que costo.
Durante años la promoción del nuevo cd fueron los singles que venian incluidos y/o la canción de promoción.
El año pasado el cm era un poco desconecatado con el tema de los treboles y Are you happy que no se parecía a la cancion de corte ni al tema o título del álbum.
Pero.... no estaban tan mal.
En todo caso lo que me molestó es que en todo el cm no se muestra Arashi, no solo lo presentan como un lienzo en blanco (cosa que nunca podrian ser por tener casi 20 años de historia) sino que también la intervención de una persona occidental!.
Yo soy occidental de pura cepa: pero que lo tantos queden claros, vendo musica japonesa en japon, de un grupo cuyo nombre está en japonés y que nunca hizo una gira por un país occidental con ¿¿??? ellos mismos noooo, con un occidental no relacionado con ellos. EHHH! WTF!
Este CM no me da ansias de comprarlo mas bien miedo. Tengo un poco de inseguridad acerca de las canciones y mucho mas del tour.
Por cierto, Mikan esta bien pero la parte Mozart esta un poquito demás! Me quedo como mi favorita hasta ahora "Power of the paradise".

Well, How I put this? What the hell are you thinking Julie?. Innovation doesn´t means give it all for nothing. For years the promotion of the new cd were the singles that were included and / or the promotional song.
The last year CM for the newest album features Arashi like a clover. The image doesn´t fit in the theme, the name or even the promotional song. But, wasn´t that bad.
This time not only the discconected image,they don´t show Arashi also have the intervention of an occidental person. They present Arashi as a blank canvas (which could never be due to having almost 20 years of history)
I am a pure western person: but selling Japanese music in Japan, a group whose name is in Japanese and never made a trip through a western country with ¿¿? themselves noooo, with a western men unrelated to them = WTF?
This CM does not give me anxiety to buy it rather fear. I have a bit of insecurity about the songs and much more of the tour.
By the way, Mikan is fine but the Mozart part is a little bit too much! My favorite of the years so far is "Power of the paradise".

En muchos sitios de Internet hay información pero lamentablemente esta desactualizada y esparcida en varios lugares. Traté de buscar en muchos sitios algunas de estas canciones.

En otros casos me enteré de canciones que son exelentes y que sobrepasan la mision de una cancion para comercial. Es decir, que en el caso de "Everything" solo se escuchan 10 segundos de la cancion entre medio de lo que se habla de la publicidad. Me parece que es una letra muy linda y con mucho significado como para una publicidad.

Otra cosa que me enteré fue el comercial de Ai wo sakebe (todavia esta disponible en streeming).

No tengo ni encontre algunos de los comerciales en esta lista. Pero si puede ser util en el caso de que alguien quier buscarlos por nombre y año.

Puedo publicar esto rápidamente porque ahora mismo se conoce oficialmente sobre los cambios en el vsa.

Aunque este SP fue grabado el 14 de junio, la producción cambia al invitado en BABA, BORRAN la parte de Tsuyoshi Domoto.

En el episodio pasado, cuando VSA tiene la vista previa del episodio lo veo y algo parece estar desaparecido ... Supongo que sólo mostraron algunas partes de la BABA sólo para fines promocionales. Luego, en la misma semana en el programa de televisión de Tokyo, Koichi anunció la enfermedad de Tsuyoshi.

Ahora, todas las piezas estan juntas.

Pero, ¿la enfermedad de Tsuyo es tan grave que tienen que borrar su participación en un espectáculo? ¿Es un problema diferente de la enfermedad? Arashi y Tsuyoshi están en buenos términos?

I post this quickly because I right now known officially about the changes in the vsa.

Although this SP was recorded on 14 jun, the production changes the guest in BABA, they ERASE the part of Tsuyoshi Domoto.

In the past episode when VSA have the preview of the episode I watch it and something seems to be missing... I guessed they only showed some parts of the BABA only for promotional purposes. Then in the same week in the Tokyo TV show Koichi annunced the illness of Tsuyoshi.

Now, all the pieces are together.

But, Is Tsuyo's disease so serious that they have to erase their participation in a show? It´s a different problem than illness? Arashi and Tsuyoshi are in good terms?

For me, Johnnys doesn´t have good maners and they create doubts and spread rumors. Too bad Johnny san, too bad!

I hope the Jimusho have a properly explanation to this.

Dije que me gusta ver a arashi un estilo tradicional japones?. Quizas no sea muy arriesgada la produccion de la portada, porque se parece a japonism y love. Espero si o si la presentacion en vivo por ahora, me gusta mas el track que la portada. Lo que da el veredicto final es la presentacion en vivo.

Music Day 7/1. Sakurai es el MC.

En el 5° aniversary del music day. Otra vez estan los chicos, espero una buena presentacion como de costumbre. Me pregunto por la Johnnys meddley porque dos grupos estan de cumpleaños, que lugar ocupa arashi en eso. (Por otro lado, Sho se ve fantastico en la publicidad).
